Pictures as installed on a WARD 66X113 RDC. This conversion uses a
constricting clutch to clamp the anvil drum gear to the journal end. The
clamping pressure is adjustable via an air regulator assembly.
This conversion allows the anvil gear to "slip on the journal when the dieboard
cutting knives engage in the anvil blankets so that the anvil drum is driven at
EXACTLY the same speed as the dieboard dictates REGARDLESS of the blanket
wear or knife penetration.
